Please note that prize amounts may vary, but an increase in the above prize amounts is likely in the event of good EoL.

Eastway is a 1.6km closed circuit. Subject to commissaire’s discretion riders with technical problems may be allowed a lap out up to the final 5 laps of the event.

Riders are requested to present themselves for signing on and gear-check (where necessary) in plenty of time. Riders completing Entry on Line are requested to have the right money ready in cash.

Warm up time on the circuit may be limited owing to pressure of events. Please follow marshalling and commentary instructions. When in doubt, please do not ride on the circuit except in your event. Take care when warming up away from the circuit.

Youth gear checks are mandatory before the event. The podium placed riders in each youth event are also requested to present themselves within two minutes of event finish for a further check.

Podiums will be made at the following times:
  Youth races: 12:20
  Adult races: 14:20
  - please make sure you are around when called for presentation!

Prizes will be in the form of significant cash and cycle-related goods. Details to follow.

Categories
Youth E - Under 8 - Until 31 December in year of 8th birthday.
Youth D - Under 10 – From 1 January in year of 9th Birthday until 31 December in year of 10th birthday.
Youth C - Under 12 -. From 1 January in year of 11th Birthday until 31 December in year of 12th birthday
Youth B - Under 14 - From 1 January in year of 13th Birthday until 31 December in year of 14th birthday
Youth A - Under 16 - From 1 January in year of 15th Birthday until 31 December in year of 16th birthday. On reaching his 16th birthday a rider may apply for a Junior competition licence in order to be permitted to compete on the open road. On taking up this option he may no longer compete as a Youth rider.
Junior - 16 yrs old or born in 1988 or 1989 - From 1st Jan of year in which 17th birthday falls to 31st December of year in which 18th birthday falls.

Event Status
6.3.1.2 National B – open to Senior male Elite, 1st and 2nd category riders, Junior male 1st and 2nd category riders and Senior female Elite category riders.
6.3.1.2.1 The minimum distance for a road race shall be 120 km on demanding terrain.
6.3.1.2.2 The minimum time for a circuit race shall be 60 minutes.
6.3.1.5 Regional B – open to Senior and Junior male 3rd and 4th category riders and Senior and Junior female riders of all categories
6.3.1.5.1 The maximum distance for a road race shall be 90 km.
6.3.1.5.2 The minimum time for a circuit race shall be 40 minutes.
